Luxe huis in het hart van Rockport

Prachtig huis in Rockport, stappen naar strand, stad, trein, Shalin Liu performance center! Dit huis is gelegen in een rustige zijstraat, omgeven door prachtige bloemen en schaduwrijke bomen, met uitzicht op Mill Brook. Wandel naar Front Beach in 5 minuten, of naar de winkels en restaurants van Bearskin Neck in minder dan 10 minuten. Stap aan boord en geniet van het thema Nautisch schip van het huis. De luxe master suite op de 3e verdieping - ook wel bekend als de Captain's Quarters - beschikt over een kingsize bed en een spa-achtige badkamer met dubbele wastafel, bad en extra grote douche met regendouche. Volledig ingerichte gastronomische keuken (de kombuis) opent naar een atrium-plafond eetgedeelte met bar-hoogte tafel en zes stoelen. De woonvertrekken zijn voorzien van een 50-inch flatscreen-tv, leren bank en stoelen en een speelhoek met tafel en 6 stoelen. Geniet van de ingebouwde kast vol boeken, games en puzzels voor alle leeftijden! Mooie buitenruimte omvat 2 patio's, gasgrill en buitenspelen cornhole en ladderbal. In de bonusruimte in de garage staat een tafeltennistafel, 4 fietsen met helmen, strandwagen, strandstoelen, parasol, zandspeelgoed en koelbox. Het huis bestaat uit 4 slaapkamers met 1 koning, 1 koningin, 1 tweepersoonsbed met twee onderschuifbed en 2 stapelbedden in de "Pirate's Den" (4 tweelingen). Twee en een half badkamers (ligbad zowel tweede als derde verdieping, half bad op eerste verdieping). Inclusief wasmachine / droger, airconditioning en parkeergelegenheid voor 3 auto's !. Kom genieten van alles wat Cape Ann te bieden heeft terwijl u geniet van luxe accommodaties. Let op: de slaapkamers bevinden zich op de 2e en 3e verdieping van een ouder huis met steile trappen - het huis is mogelijk niet geschikt voor mensen met beperkte mobiliteit.

This was the second time we rented the cottage from Gretchen and Gary. The house is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owners are fantastic, very friendly and responsive. Gary responded within minutes when I contacted them about watching the Red Sox game. Everything about this cottage is perfect from location to Front Beach, Bearskin Neck and train station. .

For my family, we could not have asked for a more perfect location for our (2025) stay in Rockport. It is tucked away on a quiet side street but an easy and pleasant walk to the beach and the main part of town. We enjoyed morning walks to get coffee and evening walks to ice cream often taking a short cut through the near by park. Having morning coffee on the patio or lying in the hammock amongst the shade of tall trees was idyllic. We made a day trip to Boston (1 h 20 min to North Station) by walking just a little over a block to the rail station. The main part of the house is historic (not sure how old) but very nicely and newly renovated. For us, some of the peculiarities of the house, such as the quirky skinny stairs, and slightly uneven wide planked wood floors was all pure New England charm. The kitchen and dining area are part of a newer addition to the home that is quality built and modern. Amenities such as quality cotton sheets and towels, beach chairs with umbrella and cart, having soap for the dishwasher and clothes washer were much appreciated.(Thank you Gretchen!) Gretchen is wonderful to interact with. We did not have any problems during our stay but she met us when we arrived and was responsive to communications and questions having many great suggestions. We will definitely be looking at this house again for our next trip to Rockport.

Perfect house and location

We had an incredible week at this property! Our family spends the week of the fourth every year on the north shore. Staying in rockport was a perfect location for us. We enjoyed walking to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house itself was clean and comfortable, and had every amenity we could need. Each room was beautifully decorated and we all slept soundly. I would highly recommend this spot!!

Idyllic Coastal Retreat

We just enjoyed the best vacation rental ever! (And I'm particular!)The home was even better than depicted online. Extremely clean and updated yet it retained the history and character of a 19th century home which transported us fully into vacation mode. We loved the quiet neighborhood that was only a quick walk to the ocean, dinning, shops, an adorable park and every other convenience we needed during the week. The house is only a short drive to Good Harbor beach and the highway to get to other communities, but we felt very peaceful and snug in our wooded glen.Spend some time relaxing in the shady garden and admiring the colors of sunset from the awesome master suite on the third floor.The owner was responsive and very friendly. 10/10

Our sons and their families joined us for an anniversary trip. The house was perfect for us. Great location, close to train and short walk to harbor. Fabulous Rockport Getaway

We had an incredible week in this tucked away gem in Rockport. The house was immaculate and every detail has been thought through for guests. Very few rental homes provide more than a roll or two of toilet paper. Gretchen has provided linens, beach towels, beach chairs, soap, tissues and all of the basics for cooking. The home is peaceful, spacious and fully appointed. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

What a lovely home! All five of my kids had their own bed, there was plenty of space to spread out, eat, and play family games. It was so nice not to have to pack all the beach towels, boogie boards, and beach stuff because it was already there! The walk to front beach was easy and the town of Rockport was so cute and the perfect place for a family stay full of adventure!

Girls Trip
