'This was my favorite place to stay on our recent Ireland trip. The location in the middle of the Connemara was exactly what I was looking for. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed for a group of 6. We referenced the house guide many times for advice on the local area. It's the perfect home base for exploring the area. We went into Cong one day and did a falconry experience at Ashford Castle and went in to Galway another day. Wish we could have stayed longer. Eimear was incredibly...

'Absolutely stunning. We had a fantastic time at the Sky Road home, we had everything we needed, Paul was so nice and helpful. Views were stunning each day. We loved walking to the Coffee Corral every day, as well as walking to the castle. '

'Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

'Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.'

'De cosy barn is prachtig gelegen en heeft veel potentie om een aangenaam verblijf te worden. Het geheel is wat rommelig en binnen rook het erg muf, alsof er lang niet gelucht was. Toiletpapier en theedoeken ontbraken. De eigenaar heeft dat rechtgezet door een deel van de huur terug te betalen. Dat vonden we erg netjes.'

'We had a great time. The house is beautiful situated and with the sheeps and horses around and sometimes rabbits it is if you live in the middle of nature. Most of the things to do are max 1 hour drive from the house and when you drive in the surroundings the sceneries are beautiful. In the house there is a lot of space to sit down and relax (or watch tv, or just look outside the window from the couch in the kitchen and enjoy nature). '

'We hebben een heerlijke week doorgebracht in dit huis. De beide open haarden waren aan bij aankomst, dus het huis heerlijk warm en welkom. Het uitzicht is geweldig en elke avond genieten terwijl genietend van een drankje. Prima uitvalsbasis voor dit gedeelte van Ierland, voor herhaling vatbaar. We komen graag nog eens terug'

'Absolutely beautiful views of lakes and mountains!! Even got to see a sunset one evening!!! Beds are very comfortable and house is very quirky (in a good way) with old timey furniture and appliances (all work fine). Well stocked kitchen. Short drive into Oughterard (very cute little town) has supermarket and pubs (Clancy’s serves wonderful roasters and has live music). Convenient to take day trips to Connemara peninsula. All in all a grest place to stay. '

'Mooie ruime woning; interieur iets gedateerd; te weinig activiteiten in onmiddellijke omgeving; gebruik wagen is noodzakelijk. Rustig gelegen, mooi uitzicht.Niet erg proper; zeker niet de kasten in de keuken ; alsook niet het te gebruikere eetgerief. Aanrekening van 150 euro voor onderhoud is duidelijk teveel.Poetsdame was nog vollop bezig toen we arriveerden; is nog blijven werken tot 1³8u30.'
