There is a diner restaurant and a bar on the premises, but we didn't get a chance to try them. The hotel is located quite a distance out from Rothesay, in Ardbeg, but it is a pleasant half hour walk along the waterfront, weather-permitting'

'Een hele leuke uitstraling die helaas niet meer als hotel van deze tijd is. Ondanks dat het bed perfect was en het sanitair schoon is de afwerking in de badkamer en slaapkamer onder peil. De hotelkamers en in mindere mate de overige ruimten van het hotel zijn aan een rigoureuze opknapbeurt toe. Als pub en ook eet gelegenheid is het erg gezellig met prima gastheren en -vrouwen, maar de accomodatie verdiend echt een grote facelift!'
