Our recent stay offered a good setup for two families with kids, providing a comfortable sleeping situation and ample towels for both showering and pool use. We appreciated having plenty of plates and silverware, and there was enough seating for all of us during meals. The bathroom conveniently located off the pool was a nice feature, and finding a beach umbrella in the garage was a welcoming bonus. An exciting highlight of our stay was seeing alligators almost daily!Areas for ImprovementHowever, we did encounter a few areas that could use some attention. The kitchen, while adequately stocked with basic items, lacked some of the "bigger" pots and pans needed to easily prepare meals for ten people. The washer seemed to take an unusually long time to complete cycles. One of the master bedrooms had sheer curtains without blinds, which significantly impacted privacy and made it impossible to block the morning sun. Additionally, a van stored in the garage turned on unexpectedly when we were in there. We also found the living room seating to be insufficient for our group of ten. The AC never seemed to make the house cold enough, which was a bit uncomfortable at times especially when sleeping. We noticed the pool area was quite buggy, so we'd recommend bringing insect repellent if you're planning a visit. The candles on the outside table did seem to help when we spread them out.Maintenance IssuesWe experienced a few maintenance issues during our stay. Two fans were not working
