'Perfect “base camp” for our weekend at the New Hampshire Highland Games at Loon Mountain. Far enough from town to avoid the crowds, but close enough that we were able to get where we needed to be quickly. The house had enough room to spread out in the evenings, and all the kitchen supplies we needed for breakfast and dinner.'

Access was easy, and the rocky river behind the resort gave the family hours and hours of entertainment. Rick was quick to answer any questions and was extremely helpful. '

Even though the property inside is a bit outdated, it is a perfect lake house retreat with an amazing little beach with free access to kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe. Plenty of beach seating with fire pits and gorgeous views. A great place to escape with kids of all ages. 'My family spent a couple days at this charming cabin as described close to several ski resorts. Due to arctic temperatures and blasting winds we ended up spending more time inside the cabin than on the slopes. Nevertheless we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.
