'We had such a lovely time at Acorn cottage, it was absolutely perfect in every way. Communication with Maria throughout super easy and the cottage is stunning, probably one of the most well thought out, well stocked getaways we've stayed at. We did plenty of local walks straight from the cottage and had a few stop offs on the way home in the local pub. We also visited on a pretty wintery weekend so it made the forest and the pub that little bit more festive. We would definitely return.'

'De cottage was groter dan de foto's lieten zien. De woonkamer was eenvoudig ingericht, maar wel praktisch. De serre was snel warm en geschikt om er met open deuren te zitten, ook als het minder mooi weer was. De slaapkamers boven zijn echt ruim en netjes verzorgd. Prima bedden en mooi schoon universeel linnengoed. Heel fijn dat er boven een aparte w.c. was. En ook nog een tweede doucheruimte met wastafel en w.c. 'The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay with our children. I had a welcome text to check everything was ok, so nice to know someone was at the end of the phone should we need. Good base location situated on the grounds of The Garlic Farm and the shop, restaurant, cafe and games room all came in handy. Parking was easy too. Short drive from Ryde ferry port and Sandown beach. We also had a lovely meal at the recommended The Pointer Inn pub down the road....

'We had an incredible stay here. We got lucky with the weather but the house was more than big enough for our party of 16. It was clean and tidy with great cooking facilities and the pool was lovely in 30 degrees! The owners were amazing with great communication in the run up to and during the stay and very helpful with check in. I would definitely stay here again and would highly reccomend it.'
