'The place is very worn down and not particularly clean. There’s a strong, unpleasant, and stuffy smell throughout the building. The escape routes in case of fire seem questionable and not clearly marked. Overall, it feels poorly maintained and unsafe. Definitely not a place I would recommend for families with children.'

'The lock on the 8-bedded doem room was damaged & it took 10 mins to ooen the door on 2 occassions. The technician or employee was away for 2 days. On the 3rd day the lock failed & lock had to be broken in after 3 different people tried for over 1 hour to ooen the door using the key.'

'Beware Foreigners!! The staff here will try to ask you for extra fees and taxes that I had already paid in full with Expedia. I didn’t pay them and once they realized I wasn’t playing their game they left it alone. However I wouldn’t trust them. I showed them that I had paid in full with Expedia and they told me it wasn’t paid and I had to pay in cash. This is a scam. DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. '

'Room was clean but the showers, toilets, outside area not so much. Very basic. We booked a double room but in the itenary it didn't say that bathroom was shared. Was a bit disappointing. We were allowed to leave our big bags for a few days. That was nice!'

'I just stayed for a week conducting research and had a great stay. The owner, Ben, and staff are wonderful people and I consider them friends now. The room & bed was clean and comfortable and solid WiFI was available at the eating area (helpful for those working). The in-room AC unit helps A LOT in the humid climate. The food, particularly dinner, is tasty and a great deal for the quality you get. Unlike places in more populated areas, if you're lucky, you'll see endangered species here like...

"Qua service heb je echt een 5 sterren ervaring. Het eten was heerlijk (hoewel wel prijzig voor Maleisie). Er is niet heel veel in de omgeving, maar dat wisten wij van te voren. Wij wilden echt even een paar dagen niets. Tip: huur een golfkarretje op de golfbaan om wildlife (otters) te bekijken. Het hotel is wel aan wat onderhoud toe, het zou zonde zijn als het gaat vervallen. Wij hadden geüpgraded naar de Ocean Wing, maar we vonden de kamer die we kregen echt niet de upgrade waard. Dit is door het personeel goed opgelost. "
