'I am in Kansas City almost weekly, and the same can be said for this wonderful little hidden place. You will not find a better place to stay, and for frequent travelers you will not find another home away from home that truly feels like a home... if your home is an amazing mansion right across from an art college and next to an art museum. No receptionist, you just walk in, grab your cup of espresso, maybe sit on the couch for a while and work before going up to your room which I can only say is...

The hotel is close to so many KC venues. The area is at the edge of downtown so its a mix of retail, industry, corporate, and some street people. But nothing unexpected in a downtown area. The small parking lot is enclosed but we saw no reason to be concerned. We felt safe and just truly enjoyed the people we met who work there. '
