'Seasonally overpriced, but in an excellent location to walk all of Salem. Rug in room was very dirty. It was very quiet and good stay'

'Good location by the water, short walk to various restaurants or sightseeing spots. King room was large and spacious, 2 complimentary bottles of water, bathroom was nice except there was a couple of pieces of hair by bathtub drain from previous person. Big flat screen TV, but issue with antenna, so only some channels could be viewed. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Very friendly front desk ladies. 'The room was incredibly clean and very beautifully decorated. Lots of space and plenty of room to stay there for a few days. Easy room access by a code and the personnel was also very helpful and kind!'

'The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. '

'New England was in the middle of a heat wave. The air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom was not working. Maintenance guy tried all evening to fix it but he wasn’t successful. He eventually brought us a fan. Also, the bathroom in the master bedroom smelled like mildew. The location of the property is very good. Walking distance to many attractions.'

'We had a very comfortable stay and would love to come again. We enjoy this part of town being so close to Forest River Park and just outside of the craziness of downtown. Very easy 10 min walk to everything. Everything was very clean and comfortable.'

'Two things that made it less that great… middle of the night fire alarm… really can’t be helped… and the door card only worked one out of 3 or 4 try’s… irritating … likely batteries… no biggies. Breakfast good with a waffle batter dispenser that dispensers… a rarity… Rooms clean, maintenance actively maintaining, desk staff pleasant and efficient!'
