With two master suites, this home is ideal for couples who love mountain views! Located in the rugged hills just 3 miles from downtown Salida, and 2 miles from extensive hiking and mountain biking trails, this home offers the perfect combination of rural quiet and small town amenities. Several of the home's stylish features were constructed from barn wood salvaged from an old Missouri farm, as well as other recycled materials, thanks to the owners' earth-conscious habits (and impeccable taste!)

This is a quiet, rural neighborhood, so please respect our neighbors' need for quiet. Quiet hours are between 9PM and 7AM. Note that voices travel very well in this hillside location, so please keep outdoor conversations on the low-key end of the spectrum.
Also, please do not drive over 20MPH in the entire Pinion Hills neighborhood.

Please respect the quiet nature of our rural neighborhood. Houses are nestled into the hillside so that you hardly notice you have neighbors...which makes it all the more important to keep outdoor noise-levels to a very considerate level. Quiet hours are between 9PM and 7AM and are enforced as such. This is not a party home, so if you're hoping to have a party, please do that in the town and retire here to this quiet, beautiful home to rest and relax. Absolutely no parties will be tolerated on site.
The driveway camera monitors activity in the driveway ONLY. If we see more cars than are reasonable for the number of overnight guests registered to stay in the home during your stay, we will likely stop by to meet folks and will have to ask extras to leave. Thanks in advance for respecting our household maximum and making your reservation for the accurate number of guests who will be staying with you.

Our cleaning standards have always been very high (as you can tell by our reviews), but with the advent of the COVID 19 threat, we've doubled-down our already high disinfecting standards to ensure the safety of our employees, guests, and our entire community.

Smoking anything indoors is strictly forbidden. If you smoke anything, please do it outside only, and practice "leave no trace" smoking. Any evidence of smoking in the house OR GARAGE will result in a $200 fine. Thanks for not smoking!
