The lodges are down the lane so you feel secluded (even with others staying in the lodges I didn’t notice at all) and surrounded by lakes, was great for me and my dog not only to visit the new forest nearby but having such a great ans dog friendly lodge and ample space to take him for quick toilet breaks! 'We booked this property in Fordingbridge since it was a reasonably short drive from Southampton (prior to our cruise). The plan was to spend 3 days in SW England (Bath, Stonehenge, etc.) and take in the charm of a small village. The property is lovely, however it is without air conditioning (A/C) and proper ventilation and during a summer heat wave, quite miserable. 'We had a great time here with our family (children 3 and 6 years old). The holiday home is kept as new and is practically cleverly laid out, which gives a spacious feeling. The cottage is also sheltered so it is cool inside on hot days. The children can enjoy themselves for a few hours at the park. In addition, there are direct walking routes from the campsite to visit the New Forest. It is also very convenient that the car can be parked next to the house, including bicycles or other goods. 'We had a lovely couple of nights here. The beach was within walking distance and the country park had an indoor swimming pool. We had to pay £50 extra for this but it was worth it as the children aged 4 and 6 went in twice a day. We stayed here to visit Poultons Park which was also a great day out for the family. The host for this property was very prompt in all responses and had left wine and biscuits when we arrived. Very professionally managed.'

'Sorry to say this is a large caravan not a chalet in my opinion.It was well equipped and positioned in what is a very large park. I have had many holidays in chalets and this one unfortunately was not amongst the best, indeed it was expensive for the short stay'
