From Ocean Beach there is access via bike trail to Mission Beach, Mission Bay, and Pacific Beach via the Ocean Beach bike path. 2 min walk down to Stump’s Market place for groceries, Cotija’s Cocina for burritos, PL bagels & Christy’s Donuts, for baked fresh daily bagels and donuts (cash only). Cessarina’s is a 5 minute walk up Voltaire for highly regarded Italian (reserve at least a week in advance). Catalina Lounge, and Long Story Irish pub are a 10 minute walk up Voltaire as well for pub food, drinks, and live music. There’s also a farmers market at PL Highschool Sundays from 9am to 1pm.

► Home Truths: - Street parking is generally available during the day, but can be hard to find in the evenings. - Children welcome BUT note that the house is NOT child-proofed in any way. - Must climb stairs: 2-story townhouse. There are 4 sets of stairs leading from the parking spot up to the home. One flight of stairs from street parking down to the home. - Potential for noise: Underneath the flight path of SD international airport departures. The departures are prohibited. between 1130pm and 0630am. The first flight is usually exactly at 0630 am. Depending on the exact departure path, and aircraft type, you can hear the planes with windows shuts. (Not enough to interrupt conversation or wake me personally). With windows open, depending on exact flight path and aircraft type, the noise level is enough to interrupt conversation/require turning the TV up. The home has been refitted with insulation and double paned windows as part of the quieter homes project.
This home is professionally managed. We are a friendly team of folks who look after this beautiful property while the owners are away. We ask you to keep in mind, this is a private home which the owner retreats to. We simply ask that you respect & take care of the property as if it were your own. Let that love flow. **We are available to you for standard check in times should you require any assistance from 4pm - 6pm. For after these hours we may be available for emergencies only and only then via the booking platform message app. We apologize if this causes any issues, but please consider this ahead of booking. Likewise, please advise us before traveling, on your estimated time of arrival so we can accommodate if possible. NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.
No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible. - Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 10am - Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside the booking platform. - The maximum occupancy for the property may not be exceeded at any time. - Host may request a photocopy of the renter`s ID for verification before check-in. - All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID). - This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter. - Maintenance/Vendors schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. Guests should understand that such vendors must be able to access the home as well as service the property so we request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. - Absolutely no parties or loud music. - This is a NON-SMOKING property. - NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have their reservation canceled immediately.
Late Checkout Policy Guests must check out by the designated checkout time specified in the rental agreement. Late checkouts without prior approval will incur fees to cover costs including, but not limited to, waiting times for cleaning crews, canceled or delayed cleaning appointments, hardships on arriving guests (e.g., delayed check-ins or compensation), additional wear and tear on the property, and increased utility usage (e.g., electricity, water, or HVAC). The fees, based on the duration past the checkout time, are as follows: • Less than 1 hour: 10% of the nightly rate or $100, whichever is greater. • 1-2 hours: 15% of the nightly rate or $250, whichever is greater. • More than 2 hours: Full nightly rate. To avoid fees, guests are encouraged to coordinate with us in advance for late checkout requests. Approved late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur additional charges as agreed upon. These fees are designed to compensate for disruptions to property turnover and operational costs, and we will provide documentation (e.g., cleaning schedules, guest complaints) upon request to ensure transparency.
Additional Cleaning Policy Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean condition, consistent with normal use. Any cleaning required beyond what is considered normal or reasonable, as determined by the property management, will result in an additional cleaning fee of $100 per hour. This fee covers costs such as extended cleaning times or specialized cleaning needs. Examples of excessive cleaning needs include, but are not limited to, excessive trash, stains or spills requiring professional treatment, pet hair in non-pet-friendly units, or other conditions requiring significant labor. We will make every effort to accurately reflect the additional work needed and the time required to complete it, providing documentation (e.g., photos, cleaning logs) upon request to ensure transparency.
Important Fee Disclosure for Long-Term Stays (30+ Days): Should this property be reserved for 28 days or more, we reserve the right to apply additional monthly fees to cover certain ongoing expenses (eg utilities) not included in the standard nightly rate. These may include, but are not limited to: • Gas and electricity • Water and sewer • Trash and recycling • Internet and streaming services • Other utility or maintenance surcharges applicable to the home which will be known prior to the time of booking These fees may be assessed as either: • A flat monthly fee, or • A fee calculated as up to 5% of the monthly rent. San Diego Trip
The house was clean and had all the essentials, which was great! Location is great, close to all major attractions yet located in a quiet neighborhood. Yes, you do hear the planes but the white fan noise cancelles it out. And we loved that we didn't have to drive so far to the airport as we had a late flight and in turn a very early depature flight.

Great stay for the location!
This trip was wonderful for my sister's 50th bday vacay with fam. The home is nice, cozy, and safe. The stairs were a pain, but at the end of the 4th day it was a breeze. Not ADA compliant as there's no elevator to walkwalk 40 steps up to the 4th floor

Lots of space, very comfortable
You get reserved parking, great location, and lots of space. Please note that you have to climb about 3 flights of stairs to get to the entrance from the garage. Hosts are quick to respond and communicate very well!

Hassle-free stay
Property was clean and provided everything we needed for our stay, including a dedicated parking spot. The renter's manual they provided was clear and had all the info we needed to access the property with pictures. The property management was very quick to respond to our needs, usually messaging us back within minutes. There is a grocery store, shops, and restaurants within walking distance as well. We appreciated that they didn't require excessive cleaning like a lot of properties do, just made sure to leave things where we found them and generally tidy (that's what cleaning fee is for!). Overall great impressions and would stay again!
