Woning is gelegen in Mission Hills boven de luchthaven van San Diego. Unit heeft een volledige keuken, 1 queensize bed, 1 ligbed met onderschuifbed dat kan worden gebruikt als 2 tweelingen of opgemaakt tot een kingsize bed. Wasserij, bureau, grote badkamer. 1000 vierkante voet leefruimte. Slechts een korte wandeling naar Little Italy, Balboa Park, Mission Hills en San Diego Waterfront. Dicht bij de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden: Seaworld, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Seaport Village, San Diego Embarcadero en nog veel meer. Groot buitenterras met ingebouwde BBQ, leuke gebieden, gashaard en waanzinnig uitzicht. Appartement is volledig ingericht met parasols, strandstoelen, koelers, strandlakens en meer. I have stayed at Mennie Vrbo's and this was by far the best of all of them. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided anything that I asked for. The property is gorgeous and so are the views. There is plenty of room inside. There is plenty of space for parking and everything was so close by. And there was not a lot of traffic wherever I went, which really surprised me. I hope I can go back to San Diego soon and if I do, I will definitely try to stay at this property.

Lovely clean one bed accommodation, ample cookware. The owners live in the property the rental part is underneath the stairs and the length of the house. Ideal for the airport, can see the planes from the garden. Trains rather noisy as they are obliged to hoot when passing the crossing. Hot tub has to be booked a day in advance and is on the upper patio. Good for a short stay.

We loved our stay here! Hosts are very responsive and accommodating. The house rules are clearly written out and they offer a wealth of amenities. They have a BBQ, fire pits, hot tub, garage gym, beach equipment, and a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. View of the airport was nice to watch the planes land and take off. City noise was not noticeable from the bedroom! Would love to stay again.

Beautiful picturesque back yard with lots of comfy seating! Great location that is close to so many things to do! Fabulous Little Italy restaurants were a walkable distance away. The rental had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and luxury linens. High end gas range made cooking breakfast a breeze. While there is a panoramic view of the airport, air traffic ceases overnight. We would stay here again! The hosts were great!

Beyond expectations!

I want to say hands down this was the best rental Ive ever stayed in. 10 in my opinion! The home was beautiful, the grounds were breathtaking. The apartment just felt like home. Bill and Tiffany were there anytime we had a question or needed help figuring out the fire pit. Anytime I go to San Diego, I’ll be checking the availability here first! Great neighborhood. Beautiful grounds.

My adult daughter and I visited San Diego to scout apartments for her. This location was ideal. While we rented a car, we hardly used it and walked almost everywhere. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. Neighborhood is quiet. The gardens are gorgeous. And even though the airport was right there, the planes were actually cool to watch and it was quiet at night. Bill and Tiffany were super nice and very responsive. I highly recommend if you are looking for someplace close to the city but in a quieter neighborhood.

Excellent property and great hosts

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this location and would absolutely stay again next time we make our way to San Diego. We loved the view from the back porch and the hosts were very helpful setting up the fire pits and chairs for us. They were always quick to reply whenever we had any questions and genuinely seemed to want to make sure we had a good time. I don't use VRBO too often so I was a little nervous using someone else's house but they made me feel at ease and it really added to the enjoyment of the stay.

The Best

We stayed four nights in February and found it tough to leave this comfortable, cozy apartment on the lower level of an historic manse. The owners' thoughtful touches are everywhere from a bowl of yummy snacks to beach towels and a big laundry hamper for the washer and dryer in the unit.The location is ideal to visit the best of sunny San Diego including the world famous Zoo and La Jolla to see the seals and art galleries. And it's just about half a mile from the airport car rental center. Great restaurants nearby for Italian, Mexican and seafood. Book your stay today!

Lovely Property Centrally Located

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Parking was easy and everything we wanted to do was close by. The bed was cozy and the apartment was well appointed. This house is close to the airport which made it extremely convenient, although you will hear the planes flying in and out.

San Diego Respite

This was a lovely place to stay, within walking distance of downtown areas including Little Italy, with great restaurants. We explored different areas of the city, and hiked nearby trails. So much to do, we hope to return someday, and would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at this beautiful historic home! Close to everything and although it’s close to the airport in convenience there is no noise issue in the rental. Beautiful property to use with great communication from the owners. We walked everywhere from the house if you are willing to make it a walking day, otherwise Uber is an easy option from here. The perfect family vacation!

This is the PERFECT location when traveling with little kids. #1) We felt so safe with a gated driveway to load and unload the babies without worry of finding parking/ street traffic with young kids. #2) the backyard was heaven. We had access to the entire back area and my kids played and played. Especially loved the little trampoline! #3) All fun kid activities and parks were 15 minutes away. The location is awesome. #5) Our plane arrived mid morning and we desperately needed to get the kids somewhere quiet for nap. Tiffany was so sweet to allow us instant access! It made the first day that much sweeter. Everything was just as described and more. You can tell the hosts truly enjoyed decorating and preparing the space. I love all the sweet collections on display and the home away from home feeling. All the appliances, kitchen utensils and dishes seemed brand new and high end. We stayed for a full week and missed it once we got home. My toddler hasn’t stopped asking to go back to the “airplane house”. Thank you for opening your home! This vacation has been etched in our hearts and gave us the best family memories!
