Casa Mezcalito makes open-air living the center of the experience, with a heated private pool, tropical garden, fire pit, and palapa-covered lounge connecting the property's handcrafted interiors. Four ensuite bedrooms give groups of up to eight room to separate, while the kitchen and bar open to the pool patio for meals and time together. San Pancho's beach, restaurants, shops, and community life are within walking distance. Pets are welcome with prior approval.



The Space:

Casa Mezcalito brings traditional Mexican materials and modern architecture together in a property designed around life outdoors. Concrete surfaces, restored doors, blacksmith-made details, and furniture handcrafted from local woods give the property its character without separating it from the tropical landscape.



The kitchen and bar open through accordion doors to the pool patio, allowing meals and conversation to move between indoors and out. The kitchen is equipped for preparing meals, and the live-edge bar creates a natural gathering place beside the patio.



Outdoor living

There is no indoor living room at Casa Mezcalito. The primary gathering spaces are outside beneath a large palapa, where a corner sofa, hammock, and surrounding garden create a shaded place to spend time together. The heated private pool, lounge chairs, and fire pit extend the experience across the garden.



Bedrooms

Four ensuite bedrooms provide privacy for families or friends traveling together. Two bedrooms have King beds, and two have Queen beds. Each bedroom also has access to its own rooftop palapa, creating additional space for coffee, reading, or time apart from the group.



The primary King suite includes an open-air shower and soaking tub for bathing beneath the sky. A half bathroom serves the shared areas, bringing the property to a total of 4.5 bathrooms.

The Neighborhood:

Casa Mezcalito sits near the entrance to San Pancho, within walking distance of the beach and the center of town. A nearby footbridge provides a route toward San Pancho's restaurants, bars, cafes, galleries, artisan shops, markets, and community life.



This location places guests close to town while keeping the experience connected to the surrounding tropical landscape. Sayulita is about a 10-minute drive away, and the coastal communities and beaches of the Riviera Nayarit are within reach for day trips.



The property is also close to the main highway. Traffic and passing trucks can be heard, and the location will not suit travelers who require silence.



Getting Around:

Guests can walk between Casa Mezcalito, central San Pancho, and the beach. A bicycle or golf cart can shorten trips around town, while a car or taxi is useful for exploring Sayulita, Lo de Marcos, Punta de Mita, and other destinations along the Riviera Nayarit.

Other Things to Note:

Open-air living

Casa Mezcalito does not have an indoor living room. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms are indoors, while the primary lounge and gathering spaces are outside beneath the palapa and around the pool. Outdoor temperatures and weather will influence the experience, especially during cooler winter nights.



Tropical environment

Open-air spaces invite contact with the surrounding environment. Guests may encounter insects, frogs, scorpions, small garden snakes, geckos, or other tropical wildlife. The property receives regular pest treatment, but these encounters cannot be eliminated.



Highway noise

Casa Mezcalito is close to the main highway, and guests will hear traffic and passing trucks. San Pancho may also bring music, celebrations, construction, animals, and other town sounds.



Internet

Internet service in the area can fluctuate and may not match the speed or reliability available in larger cities. Guests who depend on uninterrupted service for video calls or remote work should consider this before booking.



Pool

The private pool is heated. Water temperature may be affected by weather conditions, outdoor temperature, and periods when the pool is uncovered.



Pets

Pets are welcome with prior approval. The pet fee is $50 per pet, per stay, with a maximum of two pets. Guests are responsible for supervising their pets and cleaning up after them.



Occupancy

Casa Mezcalito accommodates no more than eight registered guests. Parties, events, and unregistered visitors are not permitted.



Community setting

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please keep noise at a considerate level and respect the surrounding neighborhood throughout your stay.
