'Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were very helpful. We booked mainly for its location close to the ferry port. Secure parking was a must for a fully loaded car after a long stay in Spain. The food in the restaurant was basic but very good. Maria who served us was by herself, but did a great job in dealing with a busy restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for the reason we chose it.'

Because one of us has a wheelchair for longer distances, we got a room for disabled.people. That was a disaster. You should not have any handicap to manage. Apart from the fact that the bathroom was old and worn (looks like from the same period as the building) it is large and there is not a single possibility to hold on. 'Mooi hotel in de bergen. De inrichting met antiek meubilair is smaakvol en komt niet oubollig over. De kamer was groot met prima badkamer. Na een wandeling is de spa (Turks bad, sauna, bubbelbad) ook aangenaam maar een uurtje voor €25 pp vinden we aan de dure kant. Het restaurant biedt voldoende afwisseling voor enkele dagen, een dat is fijn want er is verder niets in de buurt. Veel wandelmogelijkheden in de directe omgeving. Niet alle personeel verstaat Engels.'

'Hotel is goed personeel vriendelijk alleen de omgeving zou wat meer schoongemaakt kunnen worden. Gebouwen slopen die al grotendeels gesloopt zijn. Ik weet dat het hotel daar niet veel in te zeggen heeft maar is voor een vrouw alleen erg onvriendelijk om daar 's avonds te lopen.'
