The biggest issue was that the listing described the room as having an ensuite bathroom, but we were only informed the day of our arrival that the bathroom was actually located in the hallway, not an ensuite. 'Wow, I cannot say enough about my wife's and my stay, and it's rare for me to write a review (good or bad) for any property. The host is clearly a student of human behavior and accommodated our needs in unexpected, and most pleasing ways. Breakfast was delightfully tasty and home-cooked by the host, and his recommendations for local restaurants were impeccable. 'I had a lovely 2-night stay at the Heron Inn. Great staff; friendly and helpful. My room had a comfortable bed with good pillows and lots of light ( which matters to me). Loved being able to have coffee or tea whenever I wanted it from the dining room. Fresh and tasty breakfast. Lovely garden area for enjoying my coffee outside with the birds. I enjoyed an excellent 90 minute massage. I would stay there again.'
