'Staff were kind, honest, and super helpful. They always had a warm smile for us. When I accidentally left my bag, it was kept safe and returned. The trees near the beach are something truly special. Enjoyed the hammocks and tables on the beach. The food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent! While the rooms are a bit dated, they are the best in the area, and sufficient. '

'Heerlijk hotel in een prachtige omgeving. Lekker om uit te rusten na een rondreis door Costa Rica. Ontbijt en dinner kan wel beter. Een paar keer bultruggen gespot vanaf het strand. Dat was super! Verder genoten van simpelweg wat toeren in de omgeving. De wegen zijn erg slecht, maar dat is ook de charme van Costa Rica. '

'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...
