'It's possible I just had bad luck, but nevertheless this was my experience. Check-in was good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel itself needs overall renovation and feels weary. Day 1. Around 2pm I went to the restaurant and ordered a coffee, an ice-tea, a bottle of sparkling water, and a steak, rare, not medium rare, rare (!), with peppercorn sauce, salad and an oven potato, as sides. 'Overall, it was a great experience. Unfortunately, they did warn me ahead of time, but there was heavy construction during our stay, so there was a lot of noise early on. However, the staff and the food were fantastic. The infinity pool overlooking the waves of the Pacific Ocean was also beautiful. Highly recommend this place.'
