'The house was very clean and almost perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the showers were good. There is a beautiful private beach included just a short walk away and all of the beach paraphernalia that you could need. There were a few idiosyncrasies to this house. The biggest is the bedroom situation. For the second bedroom you must go through the first bedroom or go outside. It is definitely inconvenient. 'Our stay at this property on Sanibel Island was mixed. There were a few positives - the beds were decent, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen had the basics to cook meals. The TV setup was fine too.However, there were several serious issues that made the stay disappointing. The biggest concern was that a rat was living in the only grill, making it completely unusable (in addition to not having any gas) and raising sanitation concerns. 'What fun it's been to visit here, and what wonderful accommodations! So peaceful and quiet, and an easy drive to anywhere on the island. Had a great time hiking, kayaking, and visiting art galleries. A friend told me to visit the Sanibel Library, and I'm glad I did. Lots of interesting art on the walls, plus plenty of seashell collections. It is the coolest library I've ever seen! I enjoyed many restaurants here, and these were my favorites: Over Easy Cafe, Mudbugs, Gramma Dots and Blue...

'Enjoyed our stay. Perfect sized cottage for the two of us. Wish the bathroom had a shelf for cosmetic bags and dop kits, but we managed. Liked the beach access and parking pass even though it was a long walk from the parking lot to the beach. Communication with the owners was very was good. No dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no hair dryer but towels and beach chairs (too low for us old folks) were provided. Umbrella would have been nice. 'Fantastic little cottage. Just the right amount of space for a quick get away for two. Complimentary bikes and beach chairs were great amenities. Highly recommend. Would absolutely stay here again. '

'This property had impeccable landscaping on a beautiful canal with manatees daily and even a dolphin too! The screened lanai on both levels were so beneficial and made morning sunrise viewing such an enjoyable experience. The location cannot be beat! Daily walks to the beach were literally about 225 steps ( I counted) We were appreciative of the extra beach towels and chairs!
