'We stayed here the night before our trip up Mt Etna. It was an ideal location for an early start, 20-25mins from the cable car station. We arrived early the day before but were allowed to check into our room and had the entire place to ourselves so spent the afternoon sat by the pool. 'You have to search for the entrance but if you discover this beautiful garden behind the fence, next to the church you are so surprised! Lovely pool, relaxed surroundings and beautiful trees and plants, lovely to discover all corners of the wide area. Only a few appartments so relaxing at the pool is possible. Mascalucia is a small simple town but has some nice restaurants. Great place to start for a trip to the Etna.'
