'Driving the Tail of the Dragon and staying at the Tapoco lodge as been on my bucket list for years. Neither disappointed. The folks at the lodge were super nice, dinner and drinks were lots of fun. The location is fantastic and the property is really enjoyable. The cabins are rustic cabins so don't expect 5 star accommodations but they're fun. '

'The cabin was very nice and well maintianed. The back porch view was truly amazing durning the fall colors. The road to the cabin is not motorcycle acessible unless using a small trailer to pull bikes up and down. Great location for the lake and a Wayah rd is a must to travel on and take time to enjoy. I would recommend and revisit this cabin. No cell phone service for us in the cabin (verizon).'

'This is our second time staying at Moose Crossing and it’s so fantastic we have already rebooked for Fall 2025. It is such a quaint little cabin stocked with anything you might need for a nice relaxing stay. Our dogs loved the big porch with gates to roam and sit to enjoy the beautiful view. We enjoyed exploring all the little mountain towns before coming back and cooking meals in the well stocked kitchen. I love that Pat stocks the refrigerator with breakfast and snack foods. 'We needed a place to stay near what is in my opinion some of the best riding roads in the southeast US. I usually stay at hotels in Robbinsville. Wow what a difference staying at this property made. Took the experience to another level. It was clean, inviting, convenient and had everything we needed and some. For the first fifteen minutes we all complained about no internet and cell service. 'My husband and some friends of ours stayed for a long weekend and greatly enjoyed this home! It was very dog friendly but still very clean unlike some places we have gone to with our dog before. The host Robert was great with communication prior to our stay and posted very helpful check out instructions in his home that made everything very clear. The view was amazing and despite being more remote we had great internet access via WiFi.'
