'The house is located on a hill and the neighbours are mostly farmers. The house offers all necessary facilities and as a guest you can also use its beautiful garden. A small supermarket and a baker are within 5 min driving distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and gave us some good suggestions for trips to interesting places and for nice hikes. If you like a relaxing holiday in the Faial countryside we can recommend this house.'

'Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. 'Nico and Eunice's property is as shown on the listing. The view is spectacular and the location if perfect for walking to town, restaurants, ferry and the wine museum. Nico was incredibly helpful with suggestions ahead of time and while we were there. He was also very responsive to any questions or left us a nice welcome gift of local items upon our arrival. Our family had a great time at this property and found it to be a perfect location to explore the Madalena end of the island as well as...

'Ferienwohnung ist gut ausgestattet, rustikale Möbel, bequeme Betten, tolle Terrasse. Meerwasser Becken fußläufig erreichbar, allerdings steile Straße. Sehr gutes Restaurant in Laufweite. Vermieter sehr nett, ein defekter Toaster wurde umgehend ausgetauscht. Ausreichend Parkfläche auf dem Grundstück, Zufahrtsstraße ist sehr steil, gutes Fahrkönnen empfehlenswert.'

'Casa Rosa (the Pink House) was the perfect spot for our 5 days on Pico for our group of three couples. The owner, Manuel, speaks English fluently and is extremely helpful. He, and his brother- and sister-in-law, who live next door, were very responsive to any issues we had, including coming over at 11 pm to restore power lost during a storm, and responding within a few minutes when one of our party got locked in a bathroom! And, after all their help THEY gave US a bottle of wine for our trouble!...

'The location of this property is spectacular. Just steps to a beautiful little beach and a fantastic view of Pico. The unit is very spacious and the front deck is a great place to hang out with views of the farm fields, Pico mountain and the ocean. Some items in the unit could use some updating such as coffee maker, toaster and pillows. Otherwise it had everything we needed. '
