'This is a good to very good property, marred only by a kitchen which needs some TLC/repairs/upgrades. It is within easy walking distance of a Metro Station, which then gives easy access to the entire rest of the city. There is a supermarket only a block and a half away which we found very convenient. We were able to walk to Park Guell, which turns out to be quite the gem of a spot to visit. The neighborhood is quiet. The upper level with loft is a nice feature -- but the photos on the website...

'Although the apartment may be situated a little bit outside of the main area of Barcelona, this apartment was incredible for our week long stay. It has everything we needed and was incredibly gorgeous. It is situated from great coffee spots, right next to a grocery store, and still offered some welcoming respite from a long day of walking. This apartment is definitely not as described in the listing (and our neighbors next door who rented from you also had similar issues and open a formal inquiry) - for many reasons: + the pool was not able to be used until Friday (we checked in Tuesday) and even then not clean + the washer/dryer handle is broken and not able to open - we were required to take all of our laundry to a laundromat and pay to launder it...

'This apartment was scrupulously clean. It was well appointed and included a combo washer/dryer, which we found a little tough to operate, but was still useful. The person who first welcomed us was very friendly and kind. For us, the location was simply not good. It was a very long walk to anything that we wanted to see or do, and the metro is not something I felt comfortable navigating on my own (I tried, but became overwhelmed).
