'Overall, a great lodging in the heart of a quaint community. It was just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and a grocery. (BTW, if you arrive late, like we did shortly after 8, either quickly make to a restaurant–most close their kitchens by 8:30–or do what we did, go down the street toward the grocery near the water's edge and pick up things you can cook). Our host Christina could not have been more welcoming or helpful. 'The property was set in a beautiful very quiet area. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The only problem I could see for others was it was quite a walk into the town of Portree. It we were out all day so for us it wasn’t a problem. '
