It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. 'Wonderful cozy little cabin right on the water. Great location with a short drive into Dunvegan. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need to make simple meals. 'This was our first time on Tiree. It was fantastic with our accommodation being straight onto the beach and staying in something a little bit different - think glamping. The pod is compact but was perfect for our 5 night stay. It was clean and well equiped. Kirkapol beach which is across the road is amazing and our dog loved walking on it several times a day! The coop which is well stocked is only 5 mins drive away and we really enjoyed a few meals in the Reef Inn about a 10-15 drive away. There...

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
