'We stayed in a very clean and quaint one bedroom, #12 which is upstairs. Met a few others there who were very nice. Two bottles of cold water, one of wine with flowers to greet us. All you would need to prepare heated meals, very nice refrigerator and everything any hotel provides, all done very nicely. Security is provided with fence and electronic gate opener. 'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. And several items on the menu are not available. '

'The staff around the hotel was friendly and welcoming. My room was in a perfect location for a quiet and restful few days. The views around the resort were beautiful. Having the ability to go to Prickly Pear Beach from the shoreline was an added bonus. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the adult pool and beach. Overall, I came to Antigua to get away from the cold weather in New York and to relax, and The Hodges definitely helped me achieve both of those goals.'
