Ballard get away
Very pleasant house. It would be really great for somewhat older children, they would love the loft. Every thing was neat and tidy, and instructions were clear. The on-site parking is a huge bonus. Only complaint, those stairs (puff,puff). I probably missed that detail in the description. I would highly recommend, it’s hard to find reasonable places in Ballard.

Dream Spot for Family Vacation
We loved the unique lofted beds which allowed both kids their own room. The place had everything we needed and the Monica even helped us wash and dry a load of laundry. The neighborhood felt safe and super walkable. It was a great home base for all the things we did in Seattle using our CityPass. Highly recommend this lovely spot and super kind host family. Convenient location in Ballard, well equipped
I found the property to be perfectly located for my needs. Having the entire top floor was nice and proved to be quiet. The kitchen was well equipped with drawers labelled to make things easy to find. I interacted with Mario a couple of times and found him helpful and friendly. There are plenty of things within walking distance including markets, places to eat, coffee shops and the great Sunday Farmers Market. I would stay here again.

Lovely stay
Our stay was lovely and relaxing. Monica answered all questions, even during her important family event, and I appreciated the early check in and complete lack of hassle at this property. It is in a good neighborhood within a mile of all things Ballard. Will likely stay again soon.

A Great Find in Ballard!
The location of this property should be highlighted because it is situated in such a walkable spot, yet removed enough to have quieter evenings. If you visit on the weekend during the market season, it's a lovely little walk to the market and you're bound to walk away with something. There are loads of food options, small shops, and other attractions near the property that you could easily walk to or take a very short drive. Communication with the property owners was quick and clear, I also appreciated the transparency of the owners when construction started. Overall, very pleased with the experience!

Pictures didn’t do it justice! Plenty of room for our family of 6. Beautiful layout and loved being able to have home cooked meals every night. Off street parking was amazing and plenty to do in the area. Would stay again on our next trip out west.

Perfect Fit
We stayed in Ballard for a little over 4 nights in late June 2022! The home was a perfect fit for our family with 2 teen boys my husband & myself. The home was clean & comfy and had everything that we needed for our stay! We loved Ballard and all the cute shops, coffee places & friendly bars and restaurants! We rented electric bikes (they were in abundance) and were able to see more around us at a faster pace & without having to drive everywhere. The Ballard Locks & Golden Gardens were surprisingly close & so cool. Mario was super friendly and answered our questions & offered advice on places to check out! The neighborhood felt safe to us even walking in the evening! We felt right at home like we were true Seattle-ites & would definitely stay again!

Everything we needed
We stayed in this property for a week on a visit for our daughter's college graduation. It truly had everything we needed: laundry (they even provide soap), dishes, parking spot, and comfy beds. It is only a block from a bus stop and was within easy walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, boutiques and beautiful park spaces. Ballard is a special neighborhood, for sure. The lofts are definitely more suited for young ones but proved great fun for my grandchildren when they came over. Highly recommend!

Great setup
The two bedrooms and two lofts make a smaller flat seen much larger and appealing. Lots of light and an open feeling. It’s not brand new and there is some wear and tear evident but very reasonable prices reflect that. The owners were helpful and attentive. I would stay here again

Wonderful
This was the perfect location, only a few blocks away from family who lives in Seattle, and had everything we needed! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and play, worked excellent for kids and they even provided a pack and play which was such a huge help! We had a little trouble with the hot water in the shower and messaged the property manager about a leak coming from the shower. They responded promptly and were great! We would love to come back and visit seattle and will definitely come back and stay here! We also loved the neighbors and met a wonderful neighbor next door who told us stories all about what Seattle was like 30 years ago. Wonderful neighborhood!

Great location, lovely place
This upstairs apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet, just right for my husband and me. Wonderful location, easy walk to grocery store, excellent restaurants, and a great bakery around the corner. Nordic museum is nearby and worth seeing. Bus stop less than a block away gave us easy access to downtown, ferries, etc. Lovely walk to the Ballard Locks and adjoining gardens. We also did a longer but lovely walk to Discovery Park. We stayed 8 days and didn't need a car. All and all, a great place to stay!

Awesome location and great space!
This was in the character of Ballard style homes. Efficient, clean, and a great place to begin and end our stay in the PNW. Fantastic bakery, coffee shop, and food literally right around the corner and a grocery two blocks away. The beds were comfortable and the space was well planned. One bathroom was a little challenging, but that's just family logistics. It's a wonderful place with great access to Ballard and drive to downtown or the ferry locations. If you have children at an age to go up to the lofts, we had a 9yo and 13 yo sleeping in the lofts, you will love this place. Ballard is one of best areas in Seattle. A ton of places to see and eat. You will enjoy it!

Accommodations were great for our family. We were met with a surprise as we checked in: the shower was broken. But the hosts worked hard to fix and were accommodating to the inconvenience. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay in Ballard.

the locaton was perfect. close to all the major attractions in seattle. check in and check out process was smooth, instructions were very clear. the owner also responds to inquiry very quick, though I did not have much since everything we needed was provided. it was 8 of us adults and we were able to sleep comfortably. Wonderful place, great location!
We were two families, with kids, and were initially a little worried if the place will be big enough for all of us. But the layout is excellent and everything is planned and provided for 8 people. Needless to say, kids loved the loft bedrooms, for them it was the highlight of the whole trip. The place is clean and both kitchen and bathroom are well supplied. Location is great, close to downtown and tourist attractions, yet quiet and green. Mario and Monica are very nice hosts and respond promptly to any inquiry, even on weekends. Highly recommended!

This should be a top choice for families interested in staying in Seattle. A couple of items to help show why: 1. Sleeps four in two bedrooms and two separate one bed lofts 2. Fully stocked kitchen 3. Laundry and gym area 4. Extremely responsive owners 5. Great, safe location near plenty of amazing local restaurants I’d stay here again with my family.

Absolutely Amazing! Beautiful house in a charming , quiet neighborhood of Ballard.
Such a lovely, roomy apartment. Completely enjoyed the cleanliness and the amenities provided. Beds are very comfortable. Loved the modern, decorative features, and also the coziness of the place. The claw foot tub was a treat, even though the water pressure at times was not at its best. Overall, looking forward to coming back and booking more stays at your wonderful property. Beautiful place to stay in
Located in a nice and safe neighborhood in Ballard. Very clean and easy to get to. The kids loved the loft beds. Well maintained. It was a joy to stay in. Almost made us want to stay in more often but the sunny days in Seattle helped us explore more of the city. Good driving distance to the waterfront and downtown areas. I would definitely try to stay here again when the opportunity arises. Thanks to Mario and Monica. You guys are very excellent hosts!

We had a spectacular time!
I want to thank Mario and his wife Monica for their wonderful hospitality. We rented the 2 bedrooms + 2 lofts and it was immaculate. My 2 young boys would not leave the loft that was spacious enough for them to play on carpet that seemed tidy and spotless. The place was more spacious than how it seemed in pic. Everything you needed was available including great coffee. This was our first time in Seattle and had a great Thanksgiving! Seattle is a beautiful city, very very relaxing. Thank you Again! Super cool, fun space at a very reasonable rate. Easy to access, comfortable, interesting and functional. Everything we needed was there when we arrived. The photos don't do the place justice. Really great place to stay for 5 adults and one year old twins!

Minimalist space, maximum ease
The space is as described/pictured. For our group of 5 adults there really wasn't anywhere else in the area that would fit us. The lofts are just that, a crawl space. But cozy enough for these single guys. Only one bathroom, small sitting area - so not much space to get privacy or spread out. But it is immaculately clean, comfy mattresses, great location in Ballard and had just enough of everything to make it easy to stay in and make a giant pot of beef stew on a rainy day. And appreciated that we could get Netflix too. Mario/owner was super easy to reach and flexible. Instructions were very clear. Local recommendations: Cafe Besalu for pastries, and their neighbor for baked bread. Olaf's just around the corner looks like (and is) a bit of a dive bar. We played Battleship and pinball and had some of the best burgers with tatertots I've ever had. Their house-made corn dogs with siracha mayo had us all swooning. This was after several days of enjoying fine foods of San Fermo and other Ballard Ave restaurants during the Seattle Restaurant Week. If you are staying in, stop by Portalis Wine Shop for excellent local wines (wine tasting most nights) and beers, great German beers too. Then pop over to Top Bannana for WA produce. The QFC grocery down the street was solid, much more choices than the corner grocery. But the corner grocery had toilet paper and great frozen Indian food, which was perfect when we needed it. We would stay here again on our next trip to Seattle.

Nice apartment
We stayed there with another family, for a total of 4 adults and 3 kids. It met our needs. It was clean, well stocked, nicely decorated and relatively spacious for such a small place. I asked for additional toilet paper (remember: 7 people) and was told no more toilet paper would be supplied to us. I thought that was a little stingy. The only other disappointment was that several of us typically sleep with 2 pillows and there were only enough pillows in the place for 1 per person. More pillows and spare blankets would have been nice. The neighborhood is nice, the outdoor stairwell is kept well (clean), the lights on the stairwell were on a motion sensor but still a little tempermental, the bikes were nice enough for a good ride. The recycling was a little challenging for those of us not used to Seattle's recycling mandates. (A bin marked "paper and plastic recycling", one labeled "food waste", and one labeled "garbage" would have been helpful.) My kids loved the lofts. The neighborhood is very nice. We went to the farmers market on Sunday morning and loved it! Mario was very attentive and responded quickly to all our inquiries.

Note: It may be helpful to understand that you are short-term leasing a furnished home and not staying at hotel. You should plan to get your own groceries and extra toilet paper if you consider that your family will be needing more paper than we what we left at the unit. Still leaving 3 to 4 rolls of toilet paper for our guests for a 4 day stay will hardly qualify us as stingy.
