I honestly feel that this was the most run-down place that I've ever stayed. The toilet worked and there was running water. The towels looked clean and they provided two little bars of complimentary soap. But the tub was really gross (very obviously uncleaned and still wet) and the sink spout didn't have an aerator so the water just sprayed all over the place. There was hair on the round table by the window, and I walked into cob webs when I tried to stand close to the mirror in the interior corner of the room. There were flies, which I realize can't really be helped, but there were also ants. Fortunately, there were no bedbugs or roaches (that I could see). They issued an actual, old-school key, and my top lock (bolt) didn't even engage, at least with the key from the outside.
Positives: TV, refrigerator, microwave, a/c, right next to a 7-11 (thank goodness - needed my coffee), A-Line bus stop right in front, friendly keeper.
Negatives: not well-kept, unclean, sporadically loud refrigerator, weak wifi signal, still using actual keys instead of key cards, floor was broken in parts, ALL doors (for room entry, closet, and bathroom) were very sticky and had to be pushed or pulled open/closed very forcefully.
All of this said, I wasn't about to pay $200/night for any of the other hotels in the area, even if they did provide shuttle service to/from the airport. You get what you pay for. This is all I needed for the time I was staying.
