'Firstly let me start with the positive and move on to the negative on arrival the staff could not be more helpful and polite then up to the room very clean and well presented with a massive comfy bed we then went down into the Bistro to enjoy a lovely cooked meal once again with great services I know I said id move on to the Negative but there wasn't any, but it made you read the whole review ! would highly recommend this Hotel '

'matig hotel, de hoogtijdagen lag zeker 15 jaar terug. Desondanks vriendelijk personeel, kamer ook netjes en schoon overig. Wel erg gedateerd. Ontbijt is prima, locatie erg goed, makkelijk met OV te bereiken.'

'This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.'

'Huge room - well and comfortably furnished Bathroom well equipped as was the tea/coffee facilities . Pleasant bar and breakfast (Continental only provided) was pretty good - although would benefit from more ambitions bread options rather than just sliced! Overall excellent and would recommend.'

'My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts. '

'Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel.'
