'We were debating if we wanted to pay extra for this vs a hotel, but it turned out to be so nice. It was very private, and had a great view of the shore (it looks sideways down the beach so you can't see out to sea, but can see water). No beach access though unfortunately. We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was the perfect size for us. 'This property is serene, beautiful, family friendly and a great place for a much needed retreat. Beautiful memories were built as our family had time to enjoy the amazing views, cooler weather and sounds of the sea. We spent most of the two full days packed with fun on the property alone (but go to the farmer's market on Saturday during the summer to buy Diane's fabulous clam chowder & Mike's amazing wooden figures). 'The house was amazing, and super comfortable. The drive in takes a little longer than you might expect, as it’s 10-15MPH on gravel roads. But once you get there, the views are amazing. It’s about 10 minutes from Eastsound, and very close to the park and Mt Constitution. '

'Simple yet very nice place on the island. Amazing views from the deck. Was very comfortable for a family of 4 and there was room for one more near the loft. We enjoyed our stay. Just hope the find time to repair the stairs (damaged from weather) so it’s easier to access the beach.'

'We love spending time as a family on Lopez Island and Rich and Amy’s place makes that possible. It’s more suited to families with children than 7 adults. Only one bedroom has a closet where it’s possible to hand clothes and one other has a dresser. We stayed 8 days living out of suitcases. The bathrooms are ok and functional, and the kitchen is small but well stocked. The deck is spacious and the distant view is lovely.
