'The Old Post Office is easy to find from the bus station. A warm welcome from the manager and easy to follow instructions for getting in out of hours. Room is cosy and comfortable. The Old Post Office is just a 5-10 minute walk to the Minster. If you’re going to a show at the Minster, you can’t go wrong staying over at The Old Post Office. '

'What a little Gem this place is. Immaculately clean. Beautiful room, with everything you need. Easy check in. Communication was great. Was even given a txt an hour before our check in time to say room was ready. We will definitely be back!'

We arrive late at night but I had already got the details we needed by text message. Had a dog who settled very well for her 1st night away from home. Only downside if you are walking the hill to hotel is like a mountain 😂 made us all ready for a good nights sleep 😴'

Facilities in room were great with a fan already in the room which was very welcome as room was very warm. Didn’t hear any noise from motorway but sound proofing within the hotel could be better as it did sound like a herd of elephants above us the first night! Breakfast although limited choice, was tasty and good value for money and we were happy to take back to room to eat....

'Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. '
