Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. 'Merv, met us when we got to the house. Clear instructions given of checking in. Four of us stayed here to catch up. We had a curry from the Indian in Wincanton which was delivered and very tasty. The beds were comfortable, two rooms with double beds, one can be converted to a twin if needed and another room with a single bed. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower over the bath, sink and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. We had a walk round Wincanton, there is a Co-op which was open...

The owner was kind enough to supply a lot of information not only about the house, but also about safety, local shops, restaurants, and take aways.There even were suggestions about (child friendly) places to visit: we were able to enjoy some of them during our stay! 'The Barn was even better then we expected. Bigger then it shows on the photos. We stayed with a family of five, we have three boys ages 11-18 and where able to all fit in. Really near Wells & Bath and great opportunities for walking hiking in the Mendip Hills. Especially the cheddar gorge is great and challenging!'

The location is perfect for exploring Bath: easy walking distance to the train station as well as all of the major highlights of this beautiful city. 'Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. '
