'Upon arrival, I would have given 5 stars, because what’s not to love about being right on the beach! Well, what’s not to love is a noisy AC unit that wakes you up from a dead sleep when it turns back on in the middle of the night. That, and the lights were kept on outside the room all night which the curtains do not block out entirely. One final note - there were lots of noisy car races throughout the night, which, if the AC unit had the ability to stay running without going into energy-saving...

'Great hotel for the price! The rooms are a bit dated, but super clean! Beds are comfortable. The pool was a hit and also really clean, my kids had a blast. The woman who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the location as it is farther down from Fantasy Island and quiet, but still only a 3 minute drive to everything. Bonus, the beach is literally across the street. Basic hotel with all your needs. I was very happy with my stay.'

'Lots of false information. Breakfast is not available in the restaurant. Lunch in the restaurant is not always available depends on the day. Bar doesn’t generally open until 4pm. Pool is small and indoor. Hotel is not as “grand” as they describe. Room in typical Holiday Inn. Expensive to stay there.'

'De Sray Beach Inn is een typisch Amerikaanse Hote/Motel maar wel gelegen aan de strand van Long Beach Island in New Jersey. Het gebouw heeft zijn tijd gehad. De ventilator in de kamers hangt zo laag dat het aanraken hiervan makkelijk kan plaatsvinden. Het restaurant is matig. Voor een strand vakantie is het hotel ideaal. Ligt aan het strand.'
