'The resort was in the perfect location! We had a wonderful time walking up and down the beach and Whaler Village is literally right next to it less than five min walk. They had tons of shops and great food options! '

'Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

'Check in was not great. Our room was not ready which is understandable but when it was ready, they sent us to the wrong tower... clear across the entire property. Our view, supposed to be Garden View, we saw a parked cars looking at their grill and headlights. I would not stay there again.'

'Be careful, they charge per day to park on top of per day fees, taxes, and charity fees, it's all hidden from the original transactions, meaning they don't tell you up front, when asked, they get an attitude and say things like, "you don't have a choice", actually, as a consumer, I have a choice where I spend my money and I can "choose" to spend it elsewhere. The room carpet was filthy, don't walk on it without shoes. They are more concerned with playing Hawaii five 0 on guests, rather than...

' The room didn’t really have a balcony, just a very narrow space about 12” wide that you could stand on, no chairs would fit. Also, the ocean view was very very small. These two things were very disappointing since the room was advertised as having a balcony. Our room smelled heavily like marijuana when we first arrived, and the toilet had not been cleaned. When we asked to switch rooms, we were told they were at 98% capacity, and there were no comparable rooms. So the value for what we paid...

'Excellent beautiful place/location. Front desk needs help. Over hour to check in, no apologies and no one in front of us. Just sat behind their computers??? What was happening? No communication was. Got mail I was expecting, no call, email or msg to room. I pressed on check out and they found it. Front desk help needed'

'I rented a two-bedroom unit. The bedrooms and living room were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen could use a bit more attention in terms of cleanliness. The view was great, and the unit itself was spacious and comfortable.'

'Great Location. Plenty of Amenities and Activities. Staff nice but possibly understaffed. No staff offered smiles or that little extra you get from 4+ rated resorts but for the price, good value. Timeshare sales game always running in background was noticeable to me and somewhat takky (I was not there for presentation or owner just paid guest). '
