'Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

One of the best parts was the beach—it’s very nice and, thankfully, not overcrowded at all. Another major highlight was the Myths of Maui Luau. 'Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation.'

'It is a beautiful property and our unit was spectacular. It had the best balcony view of the ocean and pool area. The amenities in the unit were extremely helpful (ice chest, beach chairs, boogie boards). Communication and check in/check out is very easy! We will be back.'
