'One of the best stays during our 3 week trip in Ecuador. Maybe the best overall. Modern and luxeous lodge in a gorgeous, peaceful landscape with a beautiful view on the forested mountains. Clean rooms, very large comfortable bed (even large enough for me, I am almost 2 meters tall) and lots of big windows to peer outside. Delicious meals and an excellent, very hospitable host. 'This is a unique hotel. Think more like a rental cabin in a usa national park. This is not a cookie cutter us holiday inn room. These are little home built cabins in a gorgeous tropical orchid garden. The beds are clean and comfortable, the shower water is hot and the electric outlets work fine to charge your devices. Wireless is great. Tatiana greeted us warmly and gave us our choice of 3 rooms since it was important to us to have a private bathroom and privacy. We woke to the sounds of birds...
