Outside seating area by the bar was lovely, restaurant clean. All staff we came across were approachable and professional. Single only downside was that guests slamming doors during the night was very loud. Very much enjoyed our stay.'

'The accommodation was very homely, and having home cooked breakfast was a lovely touch. Walking distance from the local shops and train station made it very convenient to get around and get what i needed on a daily basis. Highly recommended and will visit again.'

'Went for my partners 60th birthday to go to sandown races, convenient by only being a 25 min walk from the lodge to the gates of the racecourse. Edwina was lovely, very friendly and the sort of person you could have a laugh with. Breakfast was vwry nice and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Very reasonable prices. '

'We hebben met 5 personen (55+) hier vier nachten verbleven. Het is ons net als vorig jaar prima bevallen. De eigenaar slaagt erin om op humorvolle wijze het zijn gasten naar de zin te maken.
Een kleine fout t.o.v. de reserveringswensen, werd spoedig en soepel hersteld.

"Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en wij werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen. De bedden waren uitmuntend, zeer goed geslapen.
