'The room was large, the bed was relatively comfortable. There were only 2 flat pillows, which made it a bit uncomfortable for two people. The air-conditioner was fine. Breakfast was very good, better than most other hotels we stayed at on this trip. There was a free secure parking in front of the hotel - very convenient. The hotel is on the river bank and there is a park across the river. A walk through the park gets you to the old town.'

'I suspect this is a totally refurbished Communist-era hotel but it has been refurbished magnificently. It is just over the river from the Central Park and just below the wooded Belvedere, creating a quiet, almost non-urban setting. It is an easy 10 minute walk to all the sights in Cluj and there is a bus stop with a goodconnection to the train station just beside the main entrance. Breakfast was sumptuous and generous too.'

'Definitely exceeded our expectations staying here! Everything was perfect and every little thing had been well thought of. Tastefully decorated, comfortable areas to sit , super quiet. We’re world cyclists from Australia and grateful that we could safely store our bikes. A shout out to “ Em” who spoke great English and showed us around and really looked after us . The breakfast was probably the best we’ve ever eaten whilst travelling ( 4 years so far!) absolutely delicious with so much on offer...

'Super friendly reception staff. Confirmation said check in finished at 6pm but the hotel responded to me straight away to say someone will always be there. Large room, very nice inside. Good shower. Parking is on street, but there were spaces and it was a quiet area. Good location close to Salinda Yurda and Turda Gorge. We ate at hotel as not sure if there were many restaurants. Food was nice but quite basic, food prices though. Staff didn’t haven’t much personality but weren’t unfriendly....

'We chose the hotel for a short stay for 2 nights and wanted to order a drink at our fist night at 23.30, but the bar was closed and nobody came on the idea to get us a drink out of the bar and put it our room bill. Fridge was close to the reception, so it should not be a problem, but it was not possible to get a drink. Our mini bar was not cold, so no drinks after 23.30. What a pitty!'
