Sawley cottage is located in a peaceful, residential part of Skipton. The house is 60 yards away from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal - boasting beautiful scenic walks along the canal into Skipton in one direction and Gargrave and beyond in the opposite direction.
Skipton Castle, The Yorkshire Dales, Bolton Abbey, Embsay Steam Railway, Malham, Worth Valley Railway, The 3 Peaks and many other local attractions are all within easy travelling distance - the location really is outstanding for convenience.
Guests have full private use of the entire house, as well as the back patio area during their stay.
This super stylish, spacious house has recently been refurbished to a high standard making it the perfect choice for your stay. Free on street parking and a large patio area at the back to sit out and enjoy the sun makes it even more desirable.
The house boasts a large, light, open plan living space, which spans the whole of the ground floor. On one side is a full kitchen complete with Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Washing Machine, Fridge, Freezer, Kettle, Toaster, Pots, Pans, Utensils and even a Nespresso coffee machine along with a selection of coffee pods, so you really do have everything you need to enjoy your stay whatever your cooking requirements. We also have an Alexa speaker available for you to use. On the other side of the room is the spacious living area, which has 2 comfortable leather sofas, providing enough seating for everyone while watching the 50inch smart TV, which comes with Netflix and Sky included. We also have an Alexa speaker available for you to use.
Upstairs there is a beautiful double bedroom and a separate twin bedroom that has 2 single beds (a third single bed can also be made available in this room). All beds come with good quality mattresses ensuring you have a comfortable nightโs sleep, whichever bed you choose. Both bedrooms also have stylish and contemporary furniture where you can store/hang your clothes. A travel cot can also be provided upon request. There is a full bath room with separate walk-in shower as well as a bath with shower over. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided for you.
The entrance to the patio is through the back of the house; itโs a great space to enjoy your morning coffee or to chill out in the summer evenings.
There is free on street parking available on the same street at the house. There is often parking directly outside the front door or if not you will usually find a parking spot just a few spaces away.
To maximise the use of your time here, despite the fact we have free on street parking, there is also a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away and Skipton train station is just 10 minutes away. This ensures you have flexible travel arrangements to get anywhere near or far however you prefer.
Sawley Cottage is situated on a quiet residential street, and therefore we ask all guests to respect the quiet hours after 10pm. As such, this property is not suitable for any kind of party, this includes hen or stag groups.
Early check-in and late chek-out are available upon request and are subject to an additional fee.
No smoking is allowed anywhere inside the house and if you choose to smoke outside in the patio please be sure to dispose of your cigarette ends respectfully. Thank you.
