Dear Junsik Kim, we do not know what your standards are in Korea, but if you do not speak the language and we offer to arrange a korean speaking guide for a very small fee, and you do not respond to it, communication problems arise . !! But if you see how 560 guests in 5 years time are welcome and 95% gives a 10 for cleanliness, then you might have given the wrong hotel the wrong review. Our linen is washed by special laundry and the floral scent comes your way when you make the beds. Our airco's get a service every half year, incidentally our night temperature at Alamanda Villas is always around 23 c so in fact you do not even need an Airco and 60% of our guests do not even use it!

Lovely trip
We really enjoyed our stay at Alamanda villas, service was great and very welcoming. Thank you to Dian for looking after us so well during our trips. The room was lovely and comfortable. The villa is a bit out of the way which means you need to ask for a lift into town to go to the shops etc there is always someone available to help but may feel a bit restrictive if you like to wander off on your own. Everyone was lovely. Thank you Dawn

Very nice oasis of nature inside the city. Seemed suckeded and was very peaceful but just blocks from the major road. It was a great escape. The owner was on staff and saying he was helpful and kind would be an understatement. The staff truely bends over backwards to make sure you have a relaxing good time. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it an extra 3 days without a problem. This heaven is worth so much more then it’s cost...truely unforgettable.

Everything you could possibly need
Despite being slightly out of town, Alamanda truly takes care of all your needs. From 24 hour driver on site, restaurant 200m down the road and free laundry (if you book directly with them), you honestly don’t need to worry about anything. The team is extremely friendly and helpful and the environment relaxing.

Schönes Guesthouse mit super freundlichem Team
Waren 4Tage bei Frans und seinem Team. Es war wirklich super und Frans hat sich um alles gekümmert von der Touren Organisation ; Ticket besorgen einem zum Flughafen fahren oder Abholen es hat alles geklappt. Die Touren die wir gemacht haben waren super , Frans hat uns sogar um 3Uhr früh Frühstück gemacht einfach toll. Die Preise für alles sind wirklich moderat. Ich kann das Guesthouse nur Empfehlen . Die Lage ist in den Reisfeldern , in der Nähe gibt ein nettes Restaurant und in die Stadt ruft Frans ein Taxi (billig). Ich kann jeden nur Empfehlen der nach Yogyakarta reist bei Frans zu Übernachten. Danke

Es war ein überaus freundlicher Empfang Wir wurden fast schon wie Familie behandelt . Die Touren waren erstklassig und das Team super freundlich. Wir können Alamanda nur weiter empfehlen, und werden gerne wiederkommen .

Quiet place out from hassle of city jam. Comfort with good service. Last day before leaving its the boss of Alamanda prepared breakfast for us even its too early because of our early flight. For those who enjoy the sound of crickets and frogs than its ok to stay there its like a music to sooth yr ear before sleeping.

The service was exceptional & very personal. If you want to be at a quiet location this is great. The villa was clean & laundry was free. The host Frans & our guide/driver's advice helped made our trip planning easy. The view of the padi field right in front of our villa is spectacular.

If in Yogyakarta, you'd be crazy not to stay here
Amazing staff. Frans is great and so is his team. One of the most accommodating places ive ever stayed at. They will organize and handle all of your touring of the surrounding area if you want (all at a great price). HIGHLY recommended you also eat at his restaurant (within walking distance).

自然に囲まれたアットホームなホテル
3泊4日の滞在でした。インドネシア語も英語も喋れない私でもホテルの方々が、良く対応してくださいました。 空港への送迎もして頂き、とても助かりました。ホテルは田園に囲まれムラピ山が目の前に見え、とても素敵な景色でした。ホテルの部屋は二階の部屋でしたが広く落ち着いた雰囲気でした。時間があればホテルでのんびり過ごすのも良かったなーと思います。 ジョグジャカルタの街へも車で10〜15分ぐらいの場所にあるので便利だと思います。 次回、ジョグジャカルタを訪ねた時もここに宿泊したいと思っています。

Great stay but never again
Great setting, good view and somewhat rustic. The owner, Frans however is a modern day Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He can be so accommodating and welcoming but then become unreasonable, loud and very rude and aggressive when he loses it even if it's his mistake. He forgot to send the driver to pick me up from the market and didn't respond to any messages so I had to get a cab. When I mentioned it on my return I was shouted at; taunted about my nationality; bodily directly by him and asked to leave the hotel immediately! This treatment of guests seems to be a regular occurrence which I had witnessed on previous days. They run a restaurant too, a stone's throw away with a limited menu but good food. Friendly and obliging staff which unfortunately do not make up for Frans' repugnant character. Thumbs down people. I've stayed in lots of hotels, from 1 to 5 stars, but never come come across someone like this. Travellers, please rethink your decision if you are considering this hotel.

評価コメントを見て、こちらのホテルにしました。オーナーのフランスさんをはじめ、従業員のみなさんがフレンドリーでした。 滞在中の見学先など、相談にのってくれます。子ども連れでの宿泊でしたが、親切な対応でした。 田んぼの中に建つコテージですので、夜にカエルの鳴き声がよくきこえました。 また、激しい雷雨の日の宿泊でしたので、天井から水滴が滴り落ちてきました。 インドネシアでは、仕方がないこととして納得しました。

Activities and Hospitality
I stayed 2 nights. Owner Frans picked me up at 7:30am and I told my request and he gave suggestions. It was very good for me to decide my activities plan. Thus this villa's hospitality is amazing. I enjoyed day time activities for 3 days. And villa in the rice fileld is very nice and tranquil. Restaurant Rosella tastes good and the way to Rosella is a small adventurous and fantastic. If I have chance to revisit Yogyakarta, I will check this villa first.

Shangri-la in rice field
The hotel located in peaceful rice field. You wake up with bright sun light, opening windows and door to find farmers doing farmwork in the field around.This is a place of humanity, perfect place for mind fulness. Especially recommended for busy metropolis residents. The owner Frans and all local staffs are very kind and always attentive to each one of their guest. Special thanks to kind and cute Nanik! I'll definitely be back.

A lovely villa with an even better staff.
This is a great villa with wonderful staff. They really take care of you and offer affordable trips throughout the region. They have free airport pickup and dropoff, breakfast and lunch included, and a great dining option for dinner nearby. All of the tour guides are very knowledgeable, friendly, and speak fluent English. The owner, Franz, is a sweet soul, and personally helped me out with many things, including trying to get my camera fixed by taking it to the shop and buy me super glue. He send me home with some really nice hibiscus tea, and provided me with the most amazing tours you could ask for. A truly fantastic experience with him and his helpful staff. The area is close to the city but feels remote with its own gardens and ricefields. I really loved it here. Great ambiance! As good as it gets.

A perfect place to stay
A perfect start to our Indonesian holiday. The proprietor, Frans, was extremely helpful and knowledgable, the staff great, the hospitality and accommodation amazing. Close to the city but rural and unique. A wide range of local tours are run at very good prices and any shuttling around to different restaurants or locations is accommodated. Very highly recommended.

Peace and tranquility..utterly outstanding
Stunning and relaxing property set amongst the backdrop of paddy fields away from the hustle and bustle. Sit in your veranda and relax watching the fish bob in the large pond or see the fireflies dance over the paddy fields at night. Frans, Mohammed and the rest of the team make you feel like welcomed friends and do their utmost to make rite stay special. The place itself is stunning, authentic and peaceful and what you crave from Asia and from a visit to this party liar region. The guys did their utmost to make my stay special, interesting and engaging and organised all my trips. I would recommend Prambanan at sunset and Borobudur at sunrise. We drove past other places/ hotels on our trip and I felt very smug that I had chosen the best! Enjoy dining at Rosella too...scrumptious! A beautiful place that I would highly recommend!

田園に囲まれたのどかな場所
都会から離れて豊かな自然の中に身を置きたくて選んだ宿です。だから、半分外のバスルームに、ヤモリやバッタが遊びに来るのは大歓迎でした。部屋の前の田園にはバッタ、カマキリ、コオロギ、夜には蛍が飛んでいました。田園ではかるがも農法をしているようで、かわいらしい沢山のかるがもを見る事ができました。周りの小川には沢ガニ、川エビ、メダカがいて、息子は滞在中ずっと川で遊んでいました。日本の田舎に帰ったような気持ちにさせてくれる場所です。 虫や小さな生き物が大好きな人には最高だと思います。 逆に潔癖な方や、虫が苦手な方は向いていないかもしれません。

The service at Alamanda was well above excellent. Everything was great form the moment we were picked up at the airport till we were dropped of at the airport 3 days later. Tours were easily arranged and flexible. People at the hotel are local and understand and know the small out of the way places that big tours miss. Prices were very very reasonable. The small hotel has a feeling that they are not after big profits and taking advantage of tourist, it feels like they want their guest to have a good time and really understand the local culture.

Wonderful Stay
A brilliant stay in somebody's 'large' home. We were looked after from the moment we landed at the local airport to the moment we flew out and really could not ask for more. The owner is very hands on while the staff are great. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is good just outside the city. The owner also provides a thick manual advising of all the tours and trips available. There is so much to do. Highly recommended.

Frans and his team have thought of everything! No detail has been missed! They were so accommodating, helpful, & friendly. The breakfast each morning was far more than i could ever ask for. Our joglo was full of culture and character while still satisfying all my needs & wants. Very clean! All our tours were through Alamanda, which meant having our private guide all week, who was flexible to our needs and desires, making our trip amazing! This was our best experience we have had yet through the years of travel we have done. Its the whole package! We cant wait to return and to also recommend it to anyone going to the yogya area.
