'It was a great stay. It didn’t feel like staying at a hotel. The house looked like a fairy recent remodel.'

'This place is SO cute. Be prepared for a good set of stairs to get up to the main porch from the road. The interior is very nice and clean. We had all we needed during our stay. There is a moderate amount of street noise (cars, etc) that tapers off in the later evening. Host was very nice and communicated well.'

This house is on gravel road and it's secluded. We had a great stay and will definitely rent again if we are back in the area. We enjoyed the corn hole boards and horse shoes for the afternoon wind down. We stayed for 3 days and was able to see all the New River gorge areas in these 3 days. No hiking just taking...

'Trains, River, and Mountain view with enough room for a five-person family, and updated cold air conditioning and kitchen. The location is nice for deploying by car across the New River Gorge region. In West Virginia fashion, expect 3-7 coal trains a night at the nearby double crossing. Their horns can be startling if you’re a light sleeper. Our kids didn’t mind at all and loved the trains. Even the Amtrak Cardinal line runs through 3x a week at 10:30 am.
