'Beautiful well thought out space. Can’t say enough about our suit and the owners. The location is right on the water with easy walking access to the beach and hiking trails. Our hosts Sandra and Doc were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The suit was like new fitted with high end modern appointments. The breakfast that they provided was just what we needed. Had we known how nice this place was we would have scheduled this in our plans for a few more days. '

'We hadden een kleine kamer geboekt . En dat is het ook. Geen ruimte voor een koffer laat staan twee. Je kunt hem alkeen voor de deur kwijt maar dan jun je niet in en uit. Te klein , schoonmaak is pas s'avonds gebeurd nadat we erom gevraagd hebben. Voor ons prijs kwaliteit niet ok. Helaas'

'We were truly delighted by our stay at the Observatory. In addition to being centrally located, the hotel is part of an arts center that has been reconstructed/renovated from the Christchurch earthquakes. The history is fascinating! We were treated well and felt welcome. Falling int the feather bed was like a dream after a long trip!
