Strong oil smell from furnace (had to air out home for hours before we were comfortable staying) and overwhelming carpenter ant infestation (broken dryer as well which was fixed during our stay). 'From the communications with the host before the stay to the stay itself to check out, this was an amazing trip. We stayed here in the winter and the house was warm and cozy. The house is equipped with all a family needs for a restful and enjoyable stay- comfy beds, lots of games, etc. The power flickered during a snow storm (the whole town lost power for 2-3 minutes) and the boiler clicked off. The property manager was at the house in less than 10 minutes! James quickly set things right...
