Welkom bij onze spectaculaire Beachfront en Waterfront Bay Cottage gelegen op Lieutenant Island in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Een internationaal en regionaal kenmerk. Het ligt op een zeer schilderachtige en privélocatie met een westerse uitstraling. Het heeft een vloeiende open plattegrond met de woonkamer, keuken en eetkamer met toegang tot een groot 38 "X 10" buitendek met panoramisch uitzicht op Cape Cod Bay, Great Island, Jeremy Point en Wellfleet Harbor. Het is een zeer gezellige cottage met twee slaapkamers en een complete badkamer op de begane grond. Er is een queensize bed in de slaapkamer en twee aparte bedden in de gast slaapkamer en een slaapbank in de woonkamer. Mooie en unieke teruggewonnen teakvloeren zijn overal in het huisje. Er is een prachtige buiten warme / koude douche met een prachtig uitzicht op de baai. Een roestvrijstalen MP-gasgrill, volledig uitgeruste keuken, internet, directe tv, strandstoelen, speelgoed, rifwandelaars en bordspellen zijn allemaal inbegrepen. Er is ook een Surfboard, Kayak en Paddle, Boogie Board, reddingsvesten, beschikbaar voor uw gebruik (ondertekend verklaring van afstand vereist). Huisdieren welkom. Huis gebroken, goed gedragen en goed verzorgde huisdieren zijn welkom. Gasten zijn verantwoordelijk voor het verstrekken van beddengoed en handdoeken. Beddengoed en handdoeken zijn echter beschikbaar op verzoek van onze schoonmaakservice (extra kosten), 16.00 uur inchecken / 10.00 uur uitchecken. Nachtelijke, maandelijkse en multi-week verhuur zijn ook beschikbaar op aanvraag.

The host Drew was super responsive and the cabin’s amenities were solid. For a remote setting, the wireless single was strong and we were easily able to stream music and movies without issue. The real standout, however was the location of the cabin and its amazing views.

This property was a dream for us and communication with the host was great. The bay panorama was unobstructed and breathtaking. House set up was perfect for our dog. Private staircase leading to the bay beach made us feel like royalty. Spectacular sunsets from the back porch and we can't wait to come back!

Private Beach Vacation!

If you are looking for a relaxing property, and one where beach time is plentiful and just a walk down the steps, this is the place! The beach is beautiful, full of shells and wildlife and very private! Truly a unique spot, would love to visit again!

Magical Cozy Cottage

My boyfriend and I feeling burnt out needed to get out of the city for some much needed R&R. We both love the ocean and find it therapeutic. Being February and cold we were looking for something ocean front with lots of windows so we could see the ocean at all times. We also wanted a place that you could easily get on the beach and go for long walks because we were bringing our pup who is obsessed with running and playing on the beach. This place was that and then some. There are 3 sliding glass doors upstairs, so you always have a view of the ocean. The tide comes way in and then goes so far out that there is plenty of space to walk and play and look for shells. The sunsets are spectacular. The cottage itself is warm and inviting. We listened to music, drank wine, played board games and took in the view, there was no reason for us to go anywhere.Drew, the host was so nice, accommodating, and very responsive from the time of inquiry to departure. We normally do not frequent the same vacation rental twice, this place however is the exception, not only will be returning same time next year (except for a longer stay) but would like to come this summer as well. Thank you again Drew for an incredible weekend.

Beautiful, restful retreat

My spouse and I wanted an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful and restful location. Our priority was great view, cozy and warm accommodation, and opportunity to explore the Cape. Drew was a great host -- and everything was as promised, with remarkable anticipation of the little things that sometimes disrupt a vacation rental: coffee filters! extra pillows! -- and binoculars to watch the bay! We were here off-season, and right on the blustery bay -- but the cottage was warm and perfect for meditation and recovery. Getting onto Lieutenant Island is a good adventure -- and the litte bit of extra effort is richly rewarded with nature, views, wildlife, a bit of isolation, and the beautiful bay. We expect to be back.

Perfect getaway!

Drew and Heather have their hands on an absolute gem! Their communication was excellent and the experience was seamless. Our first family trip with our newborn and it didn't disappoint. The location is special- we spent the day exploring Lieutenant Island and it is a true wildlife preserve. A few severe high tides brought an interesting obstacle but there are worse places to be stuck for a few hours. Looking forward to our next booking!

quiet, beautiful, wild

We stayed for a week in Drew's place and had such a special time. The proximity of the house to the water, use of the kayak, the view from the deck, and the Audubon land nearby were all highlights. We saw diamond back terrapins, a seal, plenty of shore birds and red foxes, and so many horseshoe crabs. Kids loved marveling at the size of the shells, riding their bikes around the island, fishing at high tide, and jumping off the LI bridge. We hope to return.

Happy Valentine's Day Getaway

We picked the perfect spot for our first February stay in Wellfleet. The cottage and furnishings were clean and comfortable for our five-day getaway. Of course, the views of the bay and every day's sunset were unbeatable! We were "lucky" enough to be there for a snowy, windy nor-easter and had a front-row seat to Mother Nature's dramatic performance. Drew kept in touch and reassured us beforehand that we would not be left in the cold and dark—and we never were, though other areas of the Cape lost power. As the owners have noted, the stairs and the causeway may not suit everyone, but we had no problems with either. The adventure of timing our comings and goings (and our Valentine's Day restaurant reservation in P-town) to the tides only added to the feeling that we were somewhere unique and private. (Can't vouch for the swimming and kayaking--we're not THAT adventurous.) Already looking forward to rebooking next year!

NYE retreat

Stayed for a long weekend to celebrate NYE away from the world. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. Everything was very clean, well equipped with the basics, and comfortable. Solar power, new heating/ cooling system, and reliable WiFi were great. Takes some planning to get on and off the island around the tide schedule, but that kind of added to the fun. A thrill to watch the tides come and go, excellent bird watching, and so, so peaceful. Some quirks in the older kitchen, but workable. Highly recommend!
