'Nice new hotel with direct beach access and pool. Nice up to date rooms, friendly staff. Bar should open longer than 9 PM. And 1 night the restaurant was not seating outside because " It was too wet" It had not rained in hours and there was no rain foreseen in hours, just the restaurant staff too lazy to dry the tables and chairs. That is a shame as the outside area of the restaurant has a view on the beach.'

'Our room was in the historic section. The staff was amazing! The most friendly, helpful people I have ever encountered. The kind woman at the front desk went so far as to call her daughter for a recommendation for a vegetarian restaurant for me! Many restaurants within walking distance. Parking is sufficient. The courtyard is delightful. Spring cleanup has been delayed by recent cold weather. Chairs and tables invite guests to pause and enjoy the tumbling water in the fountain and the warm...

'Staff went over and above as we had a traveler with an overheated vehicle and was stranded with us overnight after a family wedding in the area. The desk clerk called a mechanic that agreed to come look for $50 the next morning, which was a SUNDAY. She saved the day!! Our room was clean, all the staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful, good selection of items and well stocked on everything. '
