'I honestly cannot rate my stay at Papageno Resort in Kadavu highly enough. As a backpacker on a budget, staying here was a very special treat for me, and it exceeded every expectation.
Every single member of the staff, without exception, was incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely focused on making sure I had the best possible experience. Their warmth and kindness made such a difference, and I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay.
I’m also a keen amateur birder and had read great things...
'Bad start to the week with having to move due to door locking failure and then had the next 2 days without proper hot water. Maintenance staff had their hands full but got it sorted in a timely manner. All staff were very freindly and welcoming.
Rooms were cleaned on a regular baisis, all meals were varied and tasty, though a couple times there didn't seem tobe enough staff and the wait was extended'
'The hotel was really nice! The staff was amazing! They came sit at your table and speak with you, and they sang for us! They were really helpfull and nice. We really liked the scenery and the quiteness of the location. However, if you would want to leave the hotel you have to walk a 4km road that is hilly, or you can be dropped off by the hotel at the road for a fee. '
'The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to visit the national park. The property itself is also very beautiful, situated right within a rainforest and with access to a pool.
Sadly, the "communal kitchen" was a joke. There was a microwave, a kettle and a toaster, some plates and cups and almost no cutlery. It's not a kitchen if there is no stove.
Also the garden view was a big disappointment, as there was no garden to see. We recommend to book the "water view"...
'Goed verblijf gehad bij The Pearl.
Lekker groot bed.
'When did the clock stop? Clearly in its day a great resort, then something happend. It's stuck in time, elements are current, elements need renovation. We stayed 2 nights, the restaurant/bar lacked the attention expected today - menu choice/availability.
In our view the venue needs investment, (not just financial) it needs driving towards the expectations of the 21st century.'
'My wife amd i stayed for a week and had the best relaxing week! We have a special diet and the staff/chefs accommodated every meal, and the food tasted incredible!!!! Also all the staff you meet are extremely nice - we feel like we have made friends. We absolutely recommend staying here - it is magical!'
'Grote golfbaan bij het resort.
Afwisselend eten in het buffetrestaurant dmv thema avonden, Indiase avond, bbq avond, Chinese avond, visavond enz.
Leuke animatie.'
