Romantische hotels in Southern Maryland

'The rooms were very clean and tidy and it was a perfectly nice place to stay for our one night in Alexandria before flying home out of DCA. Parking is on the street and there was plenty of it. The listing is accurate, but from the pictures I thought there would be driveway parking, which there is not. No big deal, but just something to be aware of.'

'Would recommend to anyone traveling to the DC area'

'Very responsive host and very personable. We enjoyed the space and the spent a lot time on the dock trying to fish lol but did catch a few crabs. Only a few suggested improvements: pillows are hard and we woke up with crooked necks... would return but will bring pillows from home. Also a garbage disposal would be nice... we cooked a lot and I was in overdrive trying to catch any food from going down the drain and couldn't help but think most guests might not be so type A. Also for those who cook...

'Parking situation good, just a half block away that covered one car, then for a second car 15/day which wasn’t bad. Overall comfortable but the pullout couch not so much. A stair banister would have been much appreciated and safer. Also more bedside tables for phones, glasses etc.'

'Perfect location and amazing property'
