'Om te beginnen liggen de meeste kamers niet in het hoofdgebouw, maar in een aanpalend gebouw erachter. Onze kamer gaf uit op een donkere steeg en bleek de enige kamer zonder daglicht te zijn. 'My husband and I stayed at the Pillars for 3 nights. It was our first time to visit Natchez and the stay in a historic home was a wonderful part of our experience. The house is convenient to many of the pilgrimage home tours we took and close to other attractions in historic Natchez. We had a great breakfast each morning at the Guest House Inn and Restaurant via a voucher from our hosts. 'First of all, the place is sumptuous. About as close to five star as Natchez can get. David and his partner run a beautiful ship. An aesthetic pleasure. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and I had my own ground floor exit. Close to anything you would want to do in town. And David is a Southern delight. 'This home has a rich history, is beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The guest rooms are large and well equipped for an older home. Our room had a modern, updated bathroom and a Kuerig coffee maker. The outside areas are wonderful-we sat in the evening with a glass of wine. 'The property is a beautiful old historic home and the owners did a tour which was very interesting. The rooms are quaint but quite small and full of potentially breakable things so need to be less cluttered. The mattress was not good and the bed really creaked. They give you breakfast and I emailed to say I had a food allergy but this was ignored which was all a bit awkward as no choice. The place is peaceful and quiet and well situated for the historical homes tour.'
