'To be 100% honest, the only thing that makes this hotel/resort nice is the amenities. Easy access to pool and beach. Other than that, there’s nothing that makes this hotel worth $900/ night AT ALL! Staff is mediocre, rooms are mediocre at best. Our room had a toilet that did not at all flush. They sent someone multiple times to attempt to fix it, but the end result was a not working toilet our entire 2 day stay. The pool towels they gave us were dirty (literally had kids Cheeto finger marks all...

'I received a pedicure while a guest there. My pedicurist was a lot of fun. I relaxed, & we laughed a lot. SHe was professional, positive, and fun. The pedicure was pretty good, but the experience was excellent.'

'Leuk hotel, goed gelegen aan het strand. Comfortabele kamers maar beetje verouderd, toe aan opfrissing. Zeer vriendelijk kamer/receptie/barpersoneel, bediening restaurant nogal nonchalant en traag. Veel extra charges: resort fee $30/dag, valet parking $30/dag. Na uitchecken en betaling werd een extra room charge gedebiteerd voor minibar item dat niet verbruikt werd. '

'We switched our reservation from the 4 Seasons to the Escalante and are so glad we did so. It was walking distance to the town but a completely secluded, hideaway. It was so relaxing, clean and beautiful. We loved the staff and music. We absolutely will return and highly recommend to others!'

'considering the prices and the overall renovated room, its okay not great. reception can be better with info and or willingness ! room was okay ( bathroom had spots on the ceiling) and sofa in the living room too old/ no boiler for some hot water. location is good but service can be improved on many departments. '
