'This hotel was perfect for a little getaway with the kids. Room was stunning and amenities provided were great - we especially loved the nice touch of a little gift for the kids on our beds when we arrived. The kids loved the pool. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. We paid a little extra to include breakfast - it was a continental buffet with toast, cereal, juice, barista coffee included, and a small selection of fruits, pastries, meats and cheese. We had the option to upgrade for $10...

'Eenvoudig, maar praktische kamer. Alles aanwezig. Tafel met 4 stoelen, waterkoker, frigo, thee, koffie, enz… Rustig gelegen aan de Great Ocean road.'

'Kamer en badkamer zijn heel netjes en goed uitgerust. Je ziet dat het recent gemoderniseerd is, ook het bed was prima. Enige was dat het raam achter tochtig was en daardoor kou gaf, maar met name zorgde dat het rolgordijn de hele nacht klapperde. Ook de voordeur klapperde. Helaas daardoor slecht geslapen. Makkelijk te verhelpen, dus hopelijk daarna helemaal goed.'

'We had a one night stay here on our Australia trip. We stayed in the Captain's Cottage which was a lovely, spacious room. It was beautifully furnished and the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept in. There is complimentary tea and coffee for guests in the main building, as well as in the rooms. We went in to get a drink at about 8 pm but the coffee machine had run out of most choices and the water to make the tea was lukewarm. Not a huge problem but maybe something to think about...

'The most disappointing stay I have ever had. Arrived after 4 hour drive to be told the indoor heated poor was down this week for maintenance…no email, nothing on website. When i explained that was why we came as we had visited and loved it 10 years ago, was advised if I wanted I could use the local swimming pool. I couldn’t then book into hot springs instead as advised by the desk because it was adults only in the evening. Tried to make the kids happy with the indoor pool, it was freezing!'

'Very enthousiast owner welcomed us, clean room and good shower. Our room was next to the entrance, so quite noise sometimes. Breakfast is a do-it-yourself principle, so not B&B as I expected. Limited parking'
